Can you hear the crow cawing?
Silence is when you can hear her voice.
“Her” here refers to Adya Mahakali, my ishta.
The human mind is always restless, constantly working. Sometimes, the inner voice becomes overwhelming, creating confusion as we go through daily life experiences.
When you try to meditate just to escape the noise, the mind tends to play with your focus. What you don’t want to think about is exactly what the mind brings forward.
So, how do you truly meditate and connect with her?
You don’t need to go to the mountains or to some Vinland-like place to find peace.
She is within.
Talk with her. How?
Not through words,
but through silence.
Sit still.
Let the thoughts come and go without holding them.
Don’t fight the mind—just watch it.
In that watching, something changes.
The noise slowly fades,
and in that quiet space… she appears.
You don’t “speak” to her like you speak to others.
You feel her.
You listen without ears.
If you can hear the crow cawing,
if you can be fully present in that single sound—
that is enough to hear her speaking.
Because her voice
is not separate from silence.
It is the silence.
