He Wants Her
I had been wondering why men see Lust as a major hurdle in their Sadhana path and not women.
Then She lead me to MahaKala Bhairava in Her picture. He is smiling beautifully. If we notice carefully He is blissed out.
We have heard stories that when Maa Kali goes on a rampage it is Shiva who comes and lays down to give Her Adhara and She calms down, highlighting importance of Shiva as Shakti's Adhara.
The story highlights how Shiva was worried that Maa Kali's rampage would destroy the Shrishti and in anxiousness He hurries to give Her Adhara.
However, MahaKala Bhairava's blissful and smiling face made this story seem contradictory. The expression is blissful rather than relieved. He is completely Enjoying Her stomped foot on His chest, rather than Bearing it. Completely enjoying Her taking the full control.
Enthralled and Lost in Her, He watches Her - Chart Her Own Ways.
When Maa Kali went on the rampage She was Independent of Him. She didn't need Shiva. However, Shiva came running to find Her. She didn't go to Him for Adhara. He came, followed Her and lay on Her path. The separation made Him anxious, rather than destruction of the Shristi. Why do I feel so? Because of His blissed rather than relieved expression.
When They both were together He was enchanted and lost in Her. When She went independent He got anxious and came running to be with Her and become Her Bhairava.
Similarly a young man, without his Shakti, is anxious for her deep within. He wants to be with her.
When he unities with his Shakti. He becomes her Bhairava. Fends for her. Protects her. Tries to grow materially for the family embodying Swarnakarshana Bhairava. His Shakti nourishes the family as Maa.
Finally when his role is over, he embodies Kala Bhairava.
