Inverted Triangle : Bhairava, Kali-Krishna

July 26, 2025

“BhairavaKaalike Namosthuthe” Through Bhairava we attaim Maa Kaalika.

The concept of keeping Bhairava as the Adhara is the first step to follow in the path towards Maa Adya Maha Kali. Bhairava Adhara in simple words, means to be in the State of vairagya that Bhairava embodies. Since, he is the greatest of all time in vairagya when his very creation was for the purpose of cutting the fifth head of Brahma. He was in complete detachment and without any emotions or guilt in performing his said task.

Adhara to seat Shakti means to create a foundation with the help of Bhairava within oneself who is capable of seating Maa Adya simultaneously. So, a Sadhaka is destined to attain Maa Adi Shakti when he perfectly understands the importance of being and embodying the state of Bhairava.

To properly understand this we can make use of an inverted triangle concept. Let us imagine an inverted triangle placed within our heart chakra. It shall hold all three superpowers primarily required in our path towards Maa Adya. Firstly, we place Bhairava at the bottom angle of the inverted triangle who teaches us viragya. Secondly, we place Maa Adya MahaKali who clears karma by burning her Sadhakas, in the upper angle of the triangle. Finally, we place Sri Krishna who is none other than Maa Kali herself playing a leela with a flute in her hand and gives the gjana to traverse Kaliyuga in the remaining angle of the triangle. This structure is in equilibrium since all the forces encourage a Sadhaka to live his life by clearing Karmas in a detached manner, all in the while by not creating any further Runanubandhas. Thus, he attains the State of moksha while alive by burning his own self in the smashana within himself.

This formula is to be inculcated in our daily life as we go through ups or downs. For instance if we come across any situation which is either favourable or not, Bhairava helps us to look at it through the lens of detachment and helps us in shedding false identities or people pleasing in that situation. Maa Adya Kali helps us in burning the particular Karma associated with the very situation in life by facing and experiencing it fully. Finally, as per Sri Krishna’s message, to do our Karmayoga while upholding dharma even during those good or bad times. Ultimately, we will learn to accept that whatever happens is a result of our own deeds, be it good or bad by keeping all the three deities close to us.

The more a person applies this theory in his day-to-day life, the more he will start to see through the designs of Maya and live through it without taking any shortcuts. Every situation is to be seen as an offering to our inner ‘Homa Agni’ that helps to burn karma and get closer to our Maa. A variety of circumstances may pop up in a person’s relationship, studies, career or spiritual pursuit. One has to apply the inverted triange concept in accordance to their own circumstances in life, since, not everyone undergoes the same karmic patterns.

The answer to a well known victim complex question ‘Why bad things happen to good people?’ has an answer ie., To burn the older self in the Smashana of life and rise as a Kaliputra in Maa’s lap.
