Maa and Her Bhaktas

Jai Maa Adya Mahakaali

When I talk about Maa Kaali, what comes into your mind?

Just one of the 10 Mahavidyas?

If you are one of those people, then maybe this is not for you.

Please don’t read anything further.

But if you are a Kaali sadhaka,

someone who truly loves Maa,

someone who sees Her not just as a deity, but as the Primordial Mother

then this is for you.

Maa Adya is one of those eternal Shaktis who loves every single creation, because every single creation is made by Her alone.

She loves everyone equally.

But this is where Her sadhakas are different.

Because they are madly in love with Maa.

And even if not madly, they still do a little extra for Her.

They start seeing Her everywhere.

In numbers,

in anime,

in cartoons,

in movies,

in the sky,

in the stars,

in the clouds,

in mud,

in garbage,

in shadows,

and in every living being

especially animals.

The more you try to find Her, the more She comes running behind you.

It doesn’t even matter whether you are in India or China.

The moment She sees that you are calling Her,

of course She will come to you.

She who runs at the speed of 73 kilometers per second

can She not come instantly?

Of course She can.

And just read today’s name:

729) BHAKTI MOHAYAI

The One Who Enchants and Entraps with Her Bhakti

The One Whose Bhakti has a bewitching effect, pulling Her sadhakas deeper and deeper into devotion

And who is the greatest bhakta of Mahakaali?

None other than Mahakaal Himself.

Hence the name: BHAKTI MOHAYAI.

Adya Maa is so addictive that when you simply sit and look at Her,

you become hypnotised.

She who does stambhan immediately to Her sadhaka

that state where all thoughts are lost,

and only looking at Her remains

that is one of the greatest gifts.

Maa Adya, the Primordial Shakti.

The Shakti who is the Mother of the 9 Mahavidyas.

The Mother of Dakshina Kaalika,

of Bhadra Kaalika,

and of countless forms beyond what words can hold.

Maa Adya

the most beautiful Mother of the Kaliyuga.

The only Mother who gives us the liberty to worship however we want.

The Mother who does not force us to bend under rigid rituals.

The Mother who makes you the priest of your own Garbhagriha.

The Mother who can literally forgive you.

Our Mother

who is also the Mother of the asuras.

So what makes you think

She will not love us?

Are we not the asuras of Kaliyuga in our own ways?

And yet She still loves us.

She is so graceful

that She lets us off for the foolish and stupid things we do.

She is the Mother who says,

“Whatever your desire is, fulfill it… and then offer the bhoga to Me.”

What kind of Mother is this?

A Mother of pure, boundless love.

A Mother whose love is so deep,

so raw,

so accepting,

that the world cannot understand it.

And maybe that is why people get scared of Her.

But why?

Why do people fear Her

when She is the most loving,

the most caring,

the most forgiving Mother of all?

People see the skull garland,

the blood,

the darkness,

the cremation ground

and they get afraid.

But Her bhaktas see something else.

We see home.

We see Mother.

We see the One who holds even our ugliest side

and still says,

“Come closer.”

She is not terrifying to the one who loves Her.

She is not distant to the one who calls Her.

She is not cruel to the one who surrenders.

She is Maa.

And to Her bhaktas,

She is not merely one among the Mahavidyas.

She is the beginning.

She is the womb of creation.

She is the Primordial Night.

She is the first heartbeat before existence.

She is Maa Adya Mahakaali.

And once She enters your heart,

nothing else remains the same.

You start seeing Her in everything.

You start hearing Her in silence.

You start feeling Her in chaos.

You start longing for Her in every breath.

That is the madness of Her bhaktas.

That is the sweetness of Her bhakti.

That is the spell of BHAKTI MOHAYAI.

Jai Maa Adya Mahakaali.

Jai Maa.
