Sadhana and workout.
Just as when one slowly tears down and builds the muscle to move towards the weight goal, slowly each fibre of the muscle breaks and get strengthened to be powerful enough to move to heavier goals.
The sadhaka is also like this, multiple deaths and rebirths of the Jeeva, moving towards the highest states of consciousness. Consider each birth to be a workout session.
The stronger you get, the closer you go to the deity.
Consider each rep to be a samkalpa, and the more reps(samkalps) you do, the stronger you get.
The rest between the sets is the viyog from the deity, which will let you perform the next set better.
At first in the start of your journey, you workout without the pre workout. But then as you progress, you find a plateau hitting. That’s where the pre-workout comes in the form of Guru.
When Gurukripa hits you like a truckload of caffeine. You fly like you’ve never done before.
There’s no stopping after that, even if you stop working out(sadhana). The strength(Kripa) you accumulated will always be within.
What else do you get that’s common in sadhana and workout?
SADHUSANG and friends. When you’ve been working out(sadhana) for a while now. You find other like minded people and you find bond and become friends (Sadhusang).
Every workout (life) you find them and sometimes you work out together as well.
But again, it’s always a personal journey.
Never compare your strength (sadhana) to others.
Everyone has their own karma and life.
Fatigue is the gestation period, the tamas, the rest you need when you are burned down. As my beloved Guruji gives the example of the amount of reps you can do after 1 set with no rest.
That rest period is also required. BUT here’s the catch. Even in the rest period. Have light activity rather than nothing. That activity is also important to keep the stamina intact.
Be sincere with yourself. And move ahead.
