Silence in Sadhana - why it's important ?
Every human has both the black and the white side of characters which makes each one of us function in a grey spectrum, some people elicit the asuric side in us while some elicit the Deiva in us but at all times we give the key to control ourselves to the outside world.
When you step inside the sphere of sadhana, now you try to take the key of control which was long given outside back to yourself and in this process we might face a lot of turmoil, confusion, pathlessness but we must remember pathlessness is the path ahead.
Which is why Silence becomes an important factor in our progress in sadhana.
Like Guruji always says , Samudramanthan happens within ourselves and the poison that comes out of our own being if not contained will spew everywhere outside , if you keep on giving the key outside keep on chattering the mind will never get the space to process the intensity of what's happening within you and hence you become unstable , you get doubts , you experience unexplainable fear and you question yourself.
Instead if you choose silence all the outside noise drowns out , like a still lake with no ripples your vision and your sense of self becomes clearer and clearer, you also get to hear that small voice of the divine that whispers the right way at every conjuncture of your life , the more you become silent the more guidance from the inner voice becomes evident.
Homa samagri should be thrown into the fire that's burning inside and not thrown everywhere outside then only the churning can yield the Amrita from within , otherwise it becomes pointless to constantly seek outside while calling for guidance from inside. Doubts in the mind are like ripples on water everytime you face one you surrender it to the Guru and Deity and silently wait for guidance sometimes guidance comes in the most simple things but if you're not silent enough within, you will miss them, answers can come in days, weeks, months or even years it doesn't matter until the answer comes you ask with faith with internal strength just like you build muscles in a
workout ,you build strength everytime you stay non reactive and strong in the path , your mind bends to your ways in this path and you stay in control ultimately.
There is a state between being a beginner and becoming strong enough to control oneself that state is difficult and it's your test if you can pass the test while holding onto the Deity then you reap the benefits of your efforts. .
As a beginner the affirmations you get are so loud it's like welcoming you to the path and when you become strong enough the pain becomes lesser than your inner strength but the in between phase is devoid of such excitements almost feels like you will give up but you shouldn't and she too will not leave you like that just when you think you can't keep up anymore she will hold you and give you the strength but for that you should also keep walking with faith...
