Why Is the Kali Path the Most Brutal?

Why is the path toward oneness with Maa Kali filled with such intense karmic burning and pain?

The answer is very simple. Maa is not bound by anything. She is the only one who is truly mokshit.

Even the Deiva Loka is bound by time. The entire Deiva Loka will turn to ashes when Mahakaal decides. The Trimurtis are not free of Maya, and even they do not possess absolute free will.

Every being, every aspect of creation, every divine form, every divine space, all are bound by Kaal. It is only Maa Kali who devours time and stands on it. It is only she who is truly beyond the cycles of time.

This is why her path is the hardest. In order to attain a state where one is truly beyond time, it can only be achieved through intense karmic burning.

Thinking of karma, what is karma? One of her names is KAKARAVARNASARVANGI. She is the one who is the embodiment of every meaning of the letter “Ka.” She is the very embodiment of karma itself. She is Kaal as well.

She is the one who has projected herself as Kaal, karma, all living beings, all divine forms, and all spiritual paths. It is all her divine play.

Walking her path can feel like walking through a forest filled with thorns, but every thorn piercing your foot is worth it. Every pain is worth it, for it opens you to the state of oneness with Kali.

What can a jeeva achieve beyond this? Nothing.

The journey of every jeeva bound by time and karma ends with the attainment of the state of Kali.
