Homa

Lots of controversy about ‘HOMA’ and ‘Yagya’. Daily Homa or weekly Homa or even yearly Homa is not as easy as one assumes, doing specific amount of Mantras ALONE doesn’t give adhikaara to perform a Homa. It only gives one adhikaara to offer the X number of Mantras to Agni Deva. To prepare the HomaKud, you have more task at hand. Taking just two key ingredients of the Homa here for example. - Ghee - Mango Twigs -Ghee How did you procure the Ghee? Commercially processed by the big diary industry where foreign breed cows are kept like machines? Door delivered probably, in packets? What was the species of the cow that produced the ghee? When the great Rishis wrote the vidhis of Homa, there was no commercial industrialised diary industry delivering ghee over delivery apps. They meant you milk your cow, which you cleaned, bathed, treated when sick, and kept well fed. You milk that cow after the calf has had its fill, Then make Ghee. If you don’t have cows, you barter something you have and procure milk of Indian breed cows and make ghee. So the Rishis never had the need to put all this down in writing, it was obvious at those times. They never probably visualised a foreign breed of cow, the MAYA OF KALIYUGA. Just clean a cow shed for 2 days, you will know the pains of a milk abhishekam or the pains of keeping cow to produce ghee or milk. Not exactly a door delivery thing is it. Door delivered Milk for Linga Abhishekam is quite easy. You will know, your adhikaara to procure ghee and milk, when you maintain a cow(at least as a volunteer at a gau shala). - Mango Twigs When was the last time we even saw a mango tree? Most simply get it delivered over Amazon now. I used to perform Homa too, but one fine day these thoughts plagued me and I promised Bhairava and Kaalika, that until I can make the core ingredients of the Homa myself. I wasn’t going to do it anymore no matter how many mantra japa I crossed. When we moved into our new home, WE DID NOT PERFORM ANY HOMA. I took a sankalpam, to feed, water, clean and keep my Baby cow Kamakshi well, and the day she gave me milk, I would take her milk, and make the ghee for the Homa ☺️ This will take me about 1.5 more years Cows gestate for 10 months, and the adhikaara of the first milk is the Calf’s, and then the Kula Deiva’s and then the family’s They were kind enough to get me a home with two 10 year old Mango trees, I water and nurture with care, for their blessings to the twigs I will need. The divine has been very supportive of this too, Kamakshi the calf is now a bundle of joy, quite plump and happy. Happy Cow is a Blessing to proceed with most vidhis. Even When procuring Milk for Abhishekam to ShivaLingam, procure milk of the native cow, and request the Gaushala for an opportunity to clean and maintain the sheds on a volunteering basis. This gives you Adhikaara to the Milk you can now offer to the Lingam. Same Goes for the COW DUNG, to make fire. This is what Bhairava does to you, he shows you the naked truth, inside the jungle of Maya. BhairavaKaalikeNamosthute Tantr Guru Shri KalaBhairavaya Namah…
